granted there will always be that asshole who carries a Glock 21 index; but for the most part this will encourage smaller armaments and give people who would otherwise be victims a chance to defend themselves against an armed gunman.... and obviously some restrictions apply you can't walk into the courthouse with a gun and maybe a hospital is a good place to disarm as they have security, but otherwise for example a state building there should be plenty of security
