open carry is legal in most every state except the most gun restrictive because some states still care about the language of the second amendment and yet everything is backwards... in the majority of states you can open carry a rifle before a pistol fewer allow open carry of a pistol before a rifle and like maybe one or two allow constitutional concealed carry no permit
