so anyway I replaced a light switch that was faulty and that got me thinking maybe that circuit had something to do with my CPU protection circuitry getting fried so I went ahead and replaced that and then pulled that 3 prong twin outlet out of the wall and sure enough there was a hotwire loose... I inherited this house from my dad when he died everything was left in my name and he did some upgrades over the years but it looks like in the interest of safety I'm going to have to bring this entire room up to code which will cost more than a computer processor I assure you..... in any case that's real talk as opposed to a community where the members think 'Serpahim' infers 'Sephiroth' from Final Fantasy,,,, uh, close, but no cigar
