call it the black dragon wakizashi, in any case they are both hand forged both strong and sharp blades both resilient both fitted with slings and battle ready... and no less relevant in combat today than a knife or an axe and so on; when you get into machine stamped blades that's when they come out cheap pretty much no matter what you use, and for good sharp sword practice you can't beat 402 stainless, and dull blade practice ....and this does matter because wood bonks and metal clinks and the actual sword is thinner than the dojo practice sword; carbon steel display katana sets are great but mind them as the tip is still sharp and you can accidentally stab your ukeme
