the first ruling based upon the NFA was that a sawed off shotgun served no military purpose and the courts concluded at the time the reason the Founders included the language of the second amendment was in pertinence to the militia well this directly contradicts the 'weapons of war' argument held today by people like Murphy and Blumenthal, so I would like to see them try to stop this freight train
