you have to adopt a standing wave model sort of like in quantum mechanics where the stars sort of surf along a galactic wavefront created by the center mass of the galactic core like fixed orbits of electrons; but then you get into how some parts of the universe are also contracting then one must suppose perhaps the universe consists of higher dimensional manifolds, and the central mass of the galactic cores align themselves in accordance with the interactions of those manifolds
